따라 부르기 쉽고 경쾌한 멜로디에 마음을 편하게 만드는 가사로 이루어진 컨트리팝으로, 남매 듀오 Carpenters가 1972년 발표한 이래 여전히 사랑받는 올드팝 고전입니다. 컨트리 싱어 Lynn Anderson도 불러(1973년) 많은 인기를 누렸습니다.

 

Yesterday Once More, Jambalaya 등으로도 유명한 Karen Anne Carpenter (1950~1983) 는 30대 초반 나이에 심부전(heart failure)으로 소천해 1000여명 조문객 애도로 장례를 치릅니다.
